Ogmara does not use email addresses, phone numbers, or usernames. Your identity on the network is your Klever wallet address — a unique string that starts with klv1. Every message you send, every channel you create, and every interaction you make is tied to this address.
This means there is no sign-up form, no password to remember, and no central authority that controls your account. Your wallet key is your login. If you have the key, you have the identity. If you lose it, no one can recover it for you.
klv1qr7v...x9a3f. Other users see this address (or a display name you set) when you post or chat.
When you open Ogmara for the first time, a new wallet is automatically generated and stored locally on your device. There is nothing to configure — you can start chatting immediately. This is free and instant.
The private key is stored in your browser's local storage (web app) or in the device keystore (mobile/desktop). It never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it.
If you already have a Klever wallet, you can import it into Ogmara. Go to the wallet settings and paste your hex-encoded private key. Ogmara will derive the corresponding address and use it as your identity.
This is useful if you want to use the same identity across multiple apps or if you are migrating from another device.
For on-chain features like registration, channel creation, and tipping, you can connect the Klever Extension browser wallet. This lets Ogmara request transaction signatures without ever accessing your private key directly.
The Klever Extension is available for Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Brave, Edge). Install it from the Klever website, create or import a wallet there, and then connect it in Ogmara's wallet settings.
Ogmara has a simple two-tier system that balances open access with spam prevention. You can use the platform without spending anything, but on-chain registration unlocks additional capabilities.
You may want to use Ogmara on multiple devices — your phone, your laptop, and your desktop, for example. Rather than copying your private key to every device (which is a security risk), Ogmara uses a delegation system.
This approach keeps your main private key safe on a single device while still letting you participate from anywhere. Other users see all your messages as coming from the same identity, regardless of which device sent them.
