Tipping with KLV

What Is Tipping?

Tipping lets you send KLV cryptocurrency directly to a content creator as a token of appreciation. If someone posts something valuable, helpful, or entertaining, you can tip them instantly. The KLV goes straight to their Klever wallet — no middleman takes a cut, and no platform fee is deducted.

How It Works

  1. Find a message or post you want to tip, or visit a user's profile.
  2. Click the tip button.
  3. Choose the amount of KLV you want to send.
  4. Confirm the transaction in your Klever Extension browser wallet.
  5. The tip is sent on-chain and delivered to the recipient's wallet.

Requirements

  • You need the Klever Extension browser wallet installed and connected to Ogmara. The extension is available for Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Brave, Edge).
  • You need KLV tokens in your wallet. You can acquire KLV on the Klever Exchange or receive it from other users.
  • Each tip is an on-chain transaction that costs approximately 3.5 KLV in transaction fees, in addition to the tip amount itself.

Where Do Tips Go?

Tips are sent directly to the recipient's Klever wallet address. There is no intermediary, no escrow, and no platform fee. The full tip amount (minus the blockchain transaction fee paid by the sender) arrives in the recipient's wallet.

Tips Are Public

Because tips are on-chain transactions on the Klever blockchain, they are publicly visible. Anyone can see that a tip was sent, the amount, and the sender and recipient addresses. This is a property of the blockchain, not a design choice by Ogmara.

Getting KLV Tokens

To tip other users, you need KLV tokens in your Klever Extension wallet. You can purchase KLV on the Klever Exchange or receive it from other users. Once you have KLV in your wallet and the extension is connected to Ogmara, you are ready to tip.

Tip: Keep in mind that each tipping transaction costs approximately 3.5 KLV in network fees. If you plan to tip frequently, make sure your wallet has enough KLV to cover both the tips and the fees.
