The news feed is a decentralized timeline that you control. There is no algorithm deciding what you see, no ads injected between posts, and no company profiling your reading habits. Your timeline shows posts from the people and hashtags you follow, displayed in simple chronological order — newest first.
Every post on the news feed is signed by the author's wallet key, so you can always verify who wrote it. Posts are distributed across the L2 node network and are not controlled by any single server.
To create a post, open the news feed section and use the compose area. You can write text of any length, and your post will be signed with your wallet key and broadcast to the network.
You can attach images to your post. Images are uploaded to IPFS (the InterPlanetary File System), a decentralized storage network. The image is stored across multiple nodes, and your post contains a link to it — not the image data itself.
Add hashtags to your post to make it discoverable. Hashtags work the same way as on other platforms: include a word prefixed with # (for example, #klever or #decentralized). Other users who follow that hashtag will see your post in their timeline.
You can follow other users by their wallet address. Visit a user's profile and tap the follow button, or enter their klv1... address directly. Once you follow someone, all their news posts will appear in your timeline.
You can also follow hashtags. When you follow a hashtag, any post from any user that includes that tag will appear in your feed. This is a good way to discover new content and people around topics you care about.
Your timeline is the combination of posts from all the people and hashtags you follow, displayed in chronological order. You see exactly what you chose to follow — nothing more, nothing less.
If you see a post you want to share with your followers, you can repost it. A repost appears in your followers' timelines with attribution to the original author. It is a way to amplify content you find valuable without copying it.
Save any post to your bookmarks for later reading. Bookmarks are stored locally on your device and are private — no one else can see what you have bookmarked. Use them to keep track of posts you want to revisit or reference later.
You can react to posts to express your response. Reactions are visible to everyone and are tied to your wallet address. They are a lightweight way to engage with content without writing a full reply.
Use the search function to find posts by hashtag. Enter a tag (with or without the # prefix) to see all posts that include it. This is useful for exploring topics, finding communities, and discovering users who post about subjects that interest you.
